Fishing begins at 7 am and continues until 3 pm.

At 9 o’clock we begin weighing in fish in search of the 10 largest Bass each hour. A fish is entered in the hour in which it is weighed. If you catch the fish at 9:45 and weigh it in at 10:05, it is entered into the 10 o’clock hour. The prize schedule is as follows: 1st place-$1,000, 2nd place-$850, 3rd place-$700, 4th place-$650, 5th place-$550, 6th place-$450, 7th place-$375, 8th place-$225, 9th place-$125, 10th place-$75. Remember, these are hourly prizes!

Bonus Prize-the “Lucky 11th” place winner each hour receives a $50 gift certificate to Bass Pro Shops.

Your ticket includes a free cook-out at the Main Weigh Station at 3 o’clock. Beverages will be available for purchase.

This event will benefit Father Champlin’s Guardian Angel Society, a Syracuse, NY based fund used to help educate children of diverse cultural, religious, and economic backgrounds. These monies provide tuition assistance for Cathedral Academy at Pompei students as well as scholarship aid to alumni for their continuing quality education.

Tickets are available by calling (315) 426-8741. Tickets are available at the Onondaga Lake Park office. Ticket deadline: July 24, 2009 at 5 o’clock. We will sell a maximum of 1,500 tickets. Don’t get left out. For the fishing fun and a free cook-out your ticket is $50.
